Team Building Event BITMARCK Technik GmbH
The 16 participants from BITMARCK Technik GmbH arrived punctually on September 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the rear of the Hauptkirche Sankt Petri — eager and ready to rediscover Old Town.
As the team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and split everyone into three motivated teams. After the briefing the teams received their tablets with the app that sent them on a gripping Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt through Old Town's city centre. This is how a real team building experience in Old Town begins: puzzling, planning and acting together.
During the tour the teams operated independently and competed against each other in a friendly way. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for successful team tasks — a perfect recipe for lasting team building experience in Old Town. I remained available by phone throughout in case any questions arose.
The route led the teams past well-known Old Town landmarks that became exciting scenes in this interactive murder mystery. From the impressive Elbphilharmonie through the atmospheric Speicherstadt to the area around the Hauptkirche St. Michaelis, the groups discovered Old Town from new perspectives.
The atmosphere stayed positive throughout: focused thinking alternated with loud cheers at successful solutions. The game naturally encouraged communication, taking responsibility and creative problem solving — exactly the outcomes a good team building experience in Old Town should achieve.
After three hours all teams met again at the rear of the Hauptkirche Sankt Petri for the joint awards ceremony. In perfect weather the scores were announced, experiences were shared and the winners celebrated. Moments like these remain in the team's memory for a long time.
It was an entertaining, exciting event that was fun and noticeably strengthened team spirit. For BITMARCK Technik GmbH this Murder Mystery Geocaching was a successful example of how varied and effective a team building experience in Old Town can be — a day that all participants left with a smile.
