Team Building Event Novartis Pharma GmbH
The weather was at its best and provided the perfect backdrop for an exciting afternoon full of puzzle fun.
As the team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of eight participants from Novartis Pharma GmbH to the Musikantenbrunnen in Donaueschingen on September 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM. After a brief introduction and a quick tutorial on using the iPads, the teams prepared for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour, an interactive experience that blends fun and challenge.
The iPads guided the colleagues with an integrated map view to various locations around Donaueschingen. Along the way we passed well-known spots such as Schloss Donaueschingen, the Donauquelle and the Hofbibliothek, which served as the backdrop for our fictional cases. The combination of historic places and modern technology makes our team building experience in Donaueschingen something special.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed against one another in a friendly spirit. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing team tasks together. The challenges demanded creativity, communication and speed — exactly the ingredients that strengthen a team building experience in Donaueschingen.
I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical issues arose. Still, it was wonderful to see the groups use their strengths, discuss and find solutions together. The thrill of cracking tricky clues and the joy over successful team achievements created a great atmosphere.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at the Musikantenbrunnen for the award ceremony. In bright sunshine we celebrated the winners and briefly reflected on the highlights of the game. Experiences like this show how much joy and cohesion a shared adventure can bring.
The iPad Murder Mystery Tour is a refreshing team building experience in Donaueschingen: exciting, interactive and perfectly suited to bring colleagues closer together in a relaxed way. I am already looking forward to the next tour through Donaueschingen and to guiding more teams on their quest for clues.
