Team Building Event CEMEX Südostbayern GmbH & Co. KG
On 23 September 2023 at 2:30 PM I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Geocaching event for CEMEX Südostbayern GmbH & Co. KG in Regensburg. The meeting point was the Kohlenmarkt, where all 16 participants gathered. After a brief welcome and introduction we split the group into three teams and explained the format.
With tablets and our CityHunters app the teams set off into the old town full of curiosity and energy. The team building experience in Regensburg was apparent right away: everyone brought their strengths, whether solving tricky puzzles decoding codes or working together on creative challenges. The tasks led to well-known highlights like Regensburg Cathedral the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall as well as to hidden corners that are easily overlooked. This turns sightseeing into an active experience.
During the tour the teams were on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles successful team tasks and cleverly spotting small clues a perfect mix for shared progress and fun. As team guide I was reachable by phone in case a team needed support or had questions.
The weather played along so the mood was cheerful and the walk through the historic lanes became even more enjoyable. The team building experience in Regensburg thus gained a special lightness: you explore the city laugh together and strengthen the sense of togetherness all combined in an active setting.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at the Kohlenmarkt for the award ceremony. The moment of scoring was full of suspense and applause who had collected the most points? In the final exchange it became clear how much this shared experience had fostered collaboration.
Geocaching is a wonderful way to enjoy a team building experience in Regensburg combining adventure culture and team spirit. For groups that want to combine city exploration and team development a day like this remains a positive memory for a long time.
