Team Building Event Rhenus Office Systems GmbH
Our iPad Tour concept combines a digital Scavenger Hunt with an active city experience and targeted team building experience – exactly that is what we enjoyed on September 21, 2023 with colleagues from Rhenus Office Systems.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at 3:30 PM at the Frankoniabrunnen on Residenzplatz. Ninety-six participants were split into 15 teams, and after a short introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App the adventure began. The mix of modern technology and urban exploration makes our team building event a memorable experience for all ages.
The teams set off and discovered Würzburg in a new way: tasks led them to stations around the Würzburg Residence, across the Alte Mainbrücke and up to the Marienberg Fortress. At each stop creativity, problem-solving and collaboration were needed. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and shared team challenges – a clear incentive to combine strengths and enjoy some laughs together.
During the tour the groups were largely on their own, though I was available by phone at any time if help was needed. This open format promotes exactly what we aim for: a genuine team building experience in Würzburg where communication and joint decisions make the difference.
The weather cooperated, spirits were high, and the friendly competition produced many unplanned aha moments. After three hours everyone returned to the Frankoniabrunnen for the awards ceremony. I was especially pleased by the energy the teams brought to the day – a true team building experience in Würzburg that lasts long after the event.
The winning team was Team 6 with 0 points – a surprising result that we celebrated with a wink and some medals. Moments like these are what make our iPad Tours so special: it is not just about the numbers but about shared experiences, team spirit and fun.
