Team Building Event Walraven Holding GmbH & Co. KG
The beautiful late-summer weather was the perfect backdrop for our Geocaching tour in Bayreuth on September 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM.
As Team Guide for CityHunters I welcomed 26 participants from Walraven Holding GmbH & Co. KG at our meeting point on Austraße in Bayreuth. After a short introduction the groups were divided into six teams and equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app. That way everyone was well prepared to start the adventure — a true team building experience in Bayreuth.
The route led the teams across the city to both famous landmarks and hidden corners: impressions of the Margravial Opera House, a glimpse of Haus Wahnfried and the splendid New Palace Bayreuth appeared along the way. At each stop there were tricky puzzles and creative team tasks to solve that demanded close observation, clear communication and ingenuity. Challenges like these strengthen cohesion — that is a real team building experience in Bayreuth.
During the three hours the teams were largely on their own and engaged in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks, clever ideas and strong team performance. I was available by phone throughout the tour to quickly help with questions or technical issues — keeping the momentum and the fun intact.
After about three hours all teams met again on Austraße in Bayreuth for the awards ceremony. The finale was a joyful moment, with team Cityheroes taking first place — with 0 points. It was a moment full of applause, good spirits and shared memories.
This Geocaching event once again showed how well playful learning and shared experiences go together in a team building experience in Bayreuth. If you want to bring colleagues together in an active, entertaining way a city adventure like this is an excellent choice. Bayreuth provides the ideal backdrop.
