Team Building Event BG BAU
Eight colleagues from BG BAU met me at Friedrichsplatz on 20 September 2023 at 1:00 p.m. to set off together on our iPad Tour through Karlsruhe.
As the team guide I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and how to use the iPads, and divided the participants into two teams. Then it was time for adventure. Our route took the teams past well-known city landmarks – from Karlsruhe Palace to the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Center for Art and Media Technology – offering plenty of opportunities for creative tasks and tricky puzzles. The iPads were central companions, showing the tasks and helping with scoring while the teams pursued their own tactics.
The mood was positive and focused from the start. Under a bright sky the teams worked on challenges that required observation, communication, and creativity. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and joint team tasks, creating a real competition – motivating but always fair. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with questions or clear up minor technical issues.
After about three hours everyone met again at Friedrichsplatz for the joint awards ceremony. The joy over good solutions, the shared laughter, and the little aha moments made it clear that team building experience in Karlsruhe can be a lot of fun. In a relaxed atmosphere we celebrated the top teams and briefly reflected on what had brought the group together that afternoon.
The iPad Tour combines modern event design with genuine team spirit – ideal for any company that wants to actively shape a team building experience in Karlsruhe. Those looking for something special will not only face exciting challenges but also get to know colleagues in a new way. I am already looking forward to the next round and to guiding another group through Karlsruhe’s lively city center.
