Team Building Event Nagarro ES GmbH
The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Freiburg im Breisgau on September 15, 2023 at 3:30 PM.
As a team guide for CityHunters I welcomed the 25 participants from Nagarro ES GmbH at the Rathausplatz, ready for an exciting adventure and an effective team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau. After a short introduction we split the group into four teams and the murder mystery game began with clear rules and plenty of anticipation.
Each team received a tablet with our custom app that guided them to various crime scenes around the city centre. The mix of modern technology and detective work brought the tour to life: discovering clues, solving puzzles, conducting mock witness interviews and mastering team tasks. The Freiburg Minster, the Martinstor and the Haus zum Walfisch became the settings for small investigations — familiar places experienced anew.
During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks; collaboration, communication and creativity often decided who took the lead. I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical issues arose, so I could calmly support the flow of the event.
The game promoted not only the fun of a shared challenge but also genuine team spirit — exactly what we mean by a team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau. Over three hours of investigating together many happy moments, surprising solutions and new insights into the strengths of individual colleagues emerged.
At the agreed finish all teams met again at the Rathausplatz for the awards ceremony. In the sunny atmosphere points and rankings were announced, applause was shared and successes celebrated.
