Team Building Event Jobcenter Braunschweig

Perfect late-summer weather accompanied our group on September 14, 2023 and put everyone in high spirits from the start.

As the team guide for CityHunters I welcomed the ten participants from the Brunswick Jobcenter at 10:30 at Domplatz. After a short introduction we split into two teams and set off on our Geocaching adventure through the heart of Brunswick. Our motto summed it up: actively enjoy a team building experience in Brunswick and have fun doing it.

With an app-guided course and a variety of challenges the teams got underway. During the tour they were on their own, competing in a friendly contest to score as many points as possible. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, creative team tasks, and finding small clues at various stations. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case support was needed, but the group met the challenges with a lot of commitment and team spirit.

The route took the teams past well-known sights such as the Brunswick Cathedral, Dankwarderode Castle, and the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum. These places not only offered impressive photo opportunities but also interesting backstories that made the team building experience in Brunswick even more vivid. Time and again you could hear laughter, surprised calls and collaborative problem-solving — exactly what a good team building experience is about.

After three hours everyone met back at Domplatz for the awards ceremony. The tension was palpable as the points were tallied, and there was great joy over the teams achievements. Regardless of the result it was clear that the shared time brought the group closer together, boosted communication and released a lot of positive energy.

Geocaching in Brunswick combines adventure, discovery and teamwork in an ideal way. As a team guide it was a pleasure to watch colleagues become a real team. A team building experience in Brunswick can be had in so many places — from Domplatz to the hidden corners around the Brunswick Lion — and will no doubt stay in the participants memories for a long time.
