Team Building Event Eon
Our event concept combines adventure, puzzles and togetherness — exactly what makes a team building experience in Berlin come alive.
As a team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 49 motivated colleagues from Eon on September 13, 2023 at 4:30 p.m., who had gathered at the Meliá Berlin on Friedrichstraße. After a short introduction and handing out the tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app, we split into seven teams. The atmosphere was curious and expectant from the start — perfect conditions for a successful team building experience in Berlin.
Then we were off: the teams set out on their own across the city, armed with puzzles, challenges and the goal of collecting as many points as possible. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing creative team tasks. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case of questions or minor mishaps, but the adventure remained firmly in the teams' hands. The weather was pleasant and helped keep spirits high — light sunshine and fresh air were perfect for the route.
It was wonderful to watch the teams discover the variety of Berlin: sometimes they solved tasks within sight of the Brandenburg Gate, other times they headed near the Reichstag building or along Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral. Small strategies formed everywhere, along with loud shouts of celebration and warm cooperation. These are the kinds of moments that make a team building experience in Berlin special: colleagues get to know each other in new ways, find shared strengths and celebrate small victories.
After about two and a half hours all groups returned to the Meliá Berlin for the award ceremony. When the scores were announced there was a mix of tension and excitement in the air before laughter and applause took over. Once again it became clear that Geocaching with CityHunters is more than a game — it is an experience that brings teams closer together and stays with them long after. A team building experience in Berlin can be that simple and effective.
