Team Building Event Fresenius Medical Care
The sun was shining that afternoon, providing perfect weather — ideal for our Geocaching adventure in Frankfurt.
As the CityHunters team guide, I met the group from Fresenius Medical Care on September 13, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Opernplatz. A total of 13 colleagues gathered, and after a brief welcome we split into two teams. The anticipation was tangible — the goal: collect points together, solve puzzles and above all have fun.
Our route took the teams across Frankfurt city center. They discovered well-known sights and hidden corners, roaming near the Alte Oper, the Römer and the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus, and got to know the city in an interactive way. This team building event was not just about finding your way but about working together: tricky tasks, creative challenges and puzzles required communication and inventiveness.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in good-natured rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and collaboratively completed team tasks. I was available by phone and helped with questions or minor technical hurdles — always aiming to keep the game flowing and the mood upbeat.
After three hours of walking, puzzle-solving and many aha moments, everyone regrouped at Opernplatz for the awards ceremony. Tension was high as the scores were announced, but the real prize was the shared experience: smiling faces, newly discovered team dynamics and the excitement of tasks solved together. Experiences like these are what make a team building experience in Frankfurt so valuable.
This Geocaching event once again showed how charming and diverse Frankfurt is — from historic squares to surprising discoveries off the beaten path. A team building experience in Frankfurt blends sightseeing, play and team spirit and stays with participants long after the day is over.
