Team Building Event ETAX-Serviceteam SCS AG
We kicked off our event under bright sunshine and enjoyed perfect weather from the very start.
As a CityHunters team guide, I accompanied a Geocaching event for the ETAX service team SCS AG in Dresden on 09.09.2023. The 22 participants met promptly at 10:30 a.m. at the Dorint Hotel Dresden on Grunaer Street. After a brief welcome and introduction, we handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app and explained the format. Then the participants were divided into four teams and you could feel the excitement in the air.
Then it was time to go: a team building experience in Dresden in an interactive, playful way. The route led the teams through Dresden's charming corners — past the Frauenkirche, the Semperoper and the Zwinger — with surprising puzzles and team challenges along the way. The groups were on their own during the tour and competed against each other in good-natured rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving tasks, creative collaboration and finding hidden clues.
I made a point of being present and reachable, so I was available to the teams by phone throughout the tour for any questions. The atmosphere was upbeat and cheerful: people combined skills, discussed and laughed again and again — exactly what real team building experience in Dresden is all about. The mix of city exploration and playful competition not only boosted team spirit but also revealed unexpected talents and ideas.
After exactly two hours all teams returned to the starting point, the Dorint Hotel Dresden. At the award ceremony that followed the mood was jubilant and it was wonderful to see how proud the teams were of their shared achievement. Moments like these stay with you — Geocaching combines fun, challenge and a shared experience in one of Germany's most beautiful cities.
