Team Building Event IMI Germany Holding B.V. & Co. KG
Osnabrück never fails to surprise with its lively streets and rich history.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour on September 6, 2023 at 5:00 PM for nine colleagues from IMI Germany Holding B.V. & Co. KG. The meeting point was the Diocese of Osnabrück, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and our CityHunters app. From the very start you could feel the excitement for an active team building experience in Osnabrück.
The participants were split into two teams and each received an iPad as the central tool for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt. Using the app the teams navigated the city center on their own, discovered sights such as St. Peter's Cathedral, Osnabrück City Hall and the Felix Nussbaum House, and solved interactive puzzles and creative team challenges at various stations. The mix of urban exploration and playful competition produced many aha moments and plenty of laughter.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed for the highest score — points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, clever team actions and quick thinking. The CityHunters app displayed live scores and encouraged a motivating exchange. Naturally I remained reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The weather cooperated, allowing the teams to fully enjoy Osnabrück's atmosphere. It was especially rewarding to see how the team building experience in Osnabrück brought colleagues closer together: strategies were developed, roles assigned and successes celebrated together — real teamwork that could be felt.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at the Diocese of Osnabrück for the awards ceremony. In good spirits and with a dash of friendly rivalry the winners were announced and the evening ended with satisfied smiles. Experiences like this show how a team building experience in Osnabrück not only provides fun but also creates lasting connections.
