Team Building Event BWI GmbH
The concept of our iPad Tour combines modern technology, exciting puzzles and city exploration into an engaging team building event — perfect for a team building experience in Cologne.
On September 6, 2023 at 4:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 37 colleagues from BWI GmbH at Theo-Burauen-Platz as a CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app we split the group into six teams and the friendly competition began.
The teams explored the city center on their own, crisscrossing between Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig. The mix of history, culture and modern technology made the tour particularly lively — exactly what defines a successful team building experience in Cologne.
The tasks demanded problem-solving, creativity and teamwork: solving puzzles, mastering short team challenges and making collective decisions — all points-scoring in the race for first place. The CityHunters app linked the groups and provided regular updates while I was available by phone at any time for questions.
The weather cooperated, the mood was great and the fun of discovering together clearly took center stage. Many participants used the breaks to chat and to learn new sides of their colleagues — that is how an effective team building experience in Cologne works.
After three hours all teams met again at Theo-Burauen-Platz for the award ceremony. The winners enjoyed their medals while everyone celebrated the shared experience and team spirit. Experiences like these create bonds and leave lasting positive memories.
It was a thoroughly successful afternoon in Cologne: exciting challenges, plenty of laughs and real team moments.
