Team Building Event XXXLutz Mann Mobilia
Karlsruhe once again showed its best side: vibrant, culturally diverse and perfect for exciting team adventures.
On 04.09.2023 at 10:00 I had the pleasure, as a CityHunters team guide, of accompanying a Geocaching event for the 23 participants from XXXLutz Mann Mobilia at Friedrichsplatz. After a brief welcome and introduction we split the group into four teams. The atmosphere was instantly charged, full of anticipation for our tour through the city.
With tablets and the CityHunters app as companions, the teams set off on their discovery journey. Our route led past well-known spots such as Karlsruhe Palace, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Center for Art and Media Technology. At each stop puzzles and team challenges awaited, calling for clever thinking, creativity and mutual support.
During the tour the teams were on their own, engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and successful team performances. I stayed reachable by phone in case questions came up or small hints were needed. The perfect weather did the rest: sunshine and good spirits accompanied us throughout the city.
It was especially nice to see how naturally a team building experience in Karlsruhe took shape — researching a puzzle in front of the palace, puzzling together over a work of art, or enjoying a spontaneous burst of ideas at one of the city’s lovely squares. Small acknowledgements and loud successes were greeted with applause, and team cohesion visibly grew.
After three hours we met again at Friedrichsplatz for the awards ceremony. The winning team was the group Die Wölfe with 0 points. The teams in places 1 to 3 received medals and much recognition for their effort.
These experiences show that a team building experience in Karlsruhe combines memorable activities with lasting team spirit.
