Team Building Event Montessori-Verein Dietzenbach e. V.
On the morning of September 1, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., the 56 participants of the Montessori-Verein Dietzenbach e. V. gathered full of anticipation for our iPad Tour in Dietzenbach.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the meeting point at Montessori-Verein Dietzenbach, Gustav-Heinemann-Ring, and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. After dividing into nine teams the adventure began: each team had an iPad as their hub to navigate the town, find clues and solve challenges.
The tour playfully linked Dietzenbachs historic and modern sides. Passing St. Martin, the Museum of Local History and Culture Dietzenbach and Christuskirche Dietzenbach, the teams discovered familiar corners and small details that are easily overlooked in everyday life. It was a great way to combine local knowledge with teamwork and to create a genuine team building experience in Dietzenbach.
During the roughly three-hour Scavenger Hunt the groups were left to their own devices and competed in friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, creative team tasks and quick orientation. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case questions or technical problems arose.
The weather cooperated, the atmosphere was energetic and the focus was on fun, team spirit and getting to know one another. The CityHunters App supported this with live scoreboards and motivating interaction, a modern, interactive way to shape the team experience in Dietzenbach. This is how team building experience in Dietzenbach becomes something that lingers long after the event.
After three hours all teams met again at the Montessori-Verein Dietzenbach for the joint award ceremony. The top three teams received medals and were duly celebrated. It was wonderful to see how different strategies and strengths came together and how much the colleagues supported one another.
For me as the team guide it was a touching and joyful day: a perfect mix of discovery, puzzles and togetherness, exactly what team building experience in Dietzenbach is all about.
