The concept of our Murder Mystery Geocaching combines city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into an exciting team building event.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed the staff of Peter Schneider Gebäudedienstleistungen GmbH & Co. KG at Domplatz in Brunswick on September 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Twelve participants were warmly received and split into two teams; excitement rose as the rules were briefly explained and the tablets with the app were handed out.
The tour led the teams across the city center, taking them past familiar sights from Brunswick Cathedral and Dankwarderode Castle to the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum. The mix of modern technology and old-school detective instincts was great fun and showed how varied a team building experience in Brunswick can be.
During the roughly three-hour Scavenger Hunt the teams were left to their own devices and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. They earned points by solving puzzles correctly and by completing joint team tasks. Time and again I heard about creative approaches and lots of laughter; exactly that blend of focus and playful spirit is what makes our Murder Mystery Geocaching so valuable for the team building experience in Brunswick.
As guide I was reachable by phone for the groups throughout, in case technical questions or orientation issues came up. Usually a short hint was enough and the teams quickly slipped back into investigation mode.
After three hours everyone met again at Domplatz for the award ceremony. The mood was jubilant as the results were announced and the top teams were awarded medals for first to third place. Celebrating these small successes together forges connections and sustainably strengthens team spirit.
The weather cooperated and the city showed itself at its best — an ideal setting for a genuine team building experience in Brunswick. It was my pleasure to accompany this lively, exciting and bonding experience for the colleagues from Peter Schneider.
