Team Building Event Klinikum Bayreuth GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of leading a special Murder Mystery Geocaching event on September 1, 2023 for the staff of Klinikum Bayreuth GmbH. Promptly at 1:00 pm 112 excited participants met at Residenzplatz where I welcomed them gave a brief outline of the plan and split them into 20 teams. The mission was to solve puzzles gather clues and emerge as the best investigators in Bayreuth.
The teams were given tablets with our app which guided them to the crime scenes around the city. This combined modern technology with adventure — a true experience that shows how exciting a team building experience in Bayreuth can be. Along the way groups passed well known landmarks: the Margravial Opera House Wahnfried and the New Palace Bayreuth became the settings for little stories and tricky challenges.
During the two hour tour the teams were on their own competing in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks that encouraged collaboration and strong communication. I stayed available by phone throughout in case questions or technical issues came up — support that gave many groups confidence.
The weather that afternoon was fairly good and provided pleasant conditions that kept everyone motivated. It was especially nice to see how solving tasks together sparked new conversations and how colleagues revealed different sides of themselves — exactly what makes a successful team building experience in Bayreuth.
After exactly two hours all groups returned to Residenzplatz for the awards ceremony. It was a joyful finale where the team 007 emerged as the winner — with 0 points on the scoreboard which created a great atmosphere and lots of laughter. Moments like that bring people together and stay in memory.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching once again showed that team building experience in Bayreuth is about fun discovery and shared success. I am already looking forward to the next time when we pick up the trail together again and rediscover the center of Bayreuth.
