Team Building Event CHECK24 Mietwagen GmbH
The weather that evening was simply perfect — sunny and pleasant, the ideal setting for an exciting city adventure.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 11 participants from CHECK24 Mietwagen GmbH at 4:45 PM at the meeting point on Bahnhofstraße in Augsburg. After a brief introduction to the schedule and the technology — each team received a tablet with our app — we split the group into two teams and got them ready for their race through the city.
The mood was great from the start: motivated teams, curious glances at the tasks and lots of laughter. Our Geocaching format is all about that: discovering things playfully, finding solutions together and growing as a group. Along the way the challenges led teams to well-known and beloved spots like the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and the Cathedral of Our Lady, but also to smaller, surprising places many had not seen before. This is how the team building experience in Augsburg becomes an event that combines culture, fun and friendly competition.
Over the three hours the teams were on their own, competing to earn the most points by correctly solving puzzles and completing creative team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with any questions — but most of the excitement came from the teams themselves as they puzzled, debated and encouraged one another.
At the agreed finish everyone returned to the starting point on Bahnhofstraße, where the award ceremony took place after three hours. The pleasure over clever solutions, unexpected ideas and the time spent together was clearly tangible. The team building experience in Augsburg once again proved to be the perfect combination of exploring the city and strengthening the team.
Events like these bring together meeting people, creativity and competition — ideal for companies that want to strengthen their teams while rediscovering Augsburg. I’m already looking forward to the next Geocaching adventure in this charming city.
