Team Building Event redos real estate GmbH
The iPad murder mystery concept combines a digital Scavenger Hunt with interactive puzzle fun and is the perfect kick-off for a real team building experience in Hamburg.
As the team guide, on 31.08.2023 at 3:00 p.m. I welcomed 76 enthusiastic colleagues from redos real estate GmbH at the viewing platform by the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken. After a brief introduction and a quick tutorial on how to use the iPads, participants were split into ten teams — eager and competitive: who would score the most points?
Then the group set off: the iPads guided the teams along a route through well-known corners of Hamburg. Between stations with tricky puzzles and creative team tasks, participants rediscovered the city — passing sights such as the Miniatur Wunderland, the striking sailing ship Rickmer Rickmers, and the lively Reeperbahn. The tablet's digital map helped with navigation, while the cases demanded clever thinking and quick cooperation. During the tour the teams were largely on their own and could set their own pace; I remained reachable by phone at all times in case of technical questions or other queries.
Over the roughly three hours of gameplay there was laughter, debate, experimentation and sprinting — a true team building experience in Hamburg where communication and creative solutions made the difference. The competitive spirit boosted the energy and created many small moments of success that strengthened teamwork.
At the agreed finish all teams met again at the viewing platform by the Landungsbrücken for the final award ceremony. Places one through three received medals and the mood was joyful over the shared experiences. The good weather also helped and made the company outing a thoroughly successful afternoon in Hamburg.
Events like this clearly show that a digital murder mystery adventure is not only exciting but also a wonderfully effective format for a team building experience in Hamburg — engaging, surprising and connecting. I am already looking forward to the next tour!
