Team Building Event Halfar System GmbH, 33719 Bielefeld
As a team guide for CityHunters I led a Murder Mystery Geocaching on 11 August 2023 at 4:00 pm for 16 participants from Halfar System GmbH in Bielefeld. The meeting point was Altstaedter Kirchpark, where I welcomed the group, gave a short introduction and divided everyone into three teams. The mood was tense and expectant from the start, and the perfect weather helped to set the scene.
Each team received a tablet with our special app that displays the crime scenes and presents the cases. Technology meets adventure: the app guided the groups to various stations where they had to solve puzzles and complete tasks together. This is modern team building experience in Bielefeld, calling for expertise, creativity and strong communication.
The teams moved through the city centre on their own, exploring familiar corners of Bielefeld. Between stations such as the Sparrenburg, the Kunsthalle Bielefeld and the Altstädter Nicolaikirche they collected clues, analyzed traces and questioned witnesses, all in a playful atmosphere and with plenty of humour. Experiences like this clearly strengthen cohesion: real team building experience in Bielefeld.
During the tour I was reachable by phone in case of technical questions or uncertainties. The three teams competed fairly for the most points, which were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. It was fantastic to see how different skills came to the fore and synergies developed within the groups.
After two hours everyone met back at Altstaedter Kirchpark for the awards ceremony. To general surprise the winning team The brains finished first with 0 points. Moments like these are among the best: laughing together, reflecting and celebrating success — that is what our event is all about.
For me as a guide it is always rewarding to observe how much a Murder Mystery Geocaching boosts the team spirit. Whether historic alleys, urban art or the famous Bielefeld conspiracy, the city becomes an exciting playground.
