Team Building Event Kyffhäusersparkasse Artern-Sondershausen
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour for Kyffhäusersparkasse Artern-Sondershausen in Erfurt on August 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM. The meeting point was Kreuzgasse, where I warmly welcomed the twelve participants and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app. After a short briefing we split the group into two teams and the adventure began.
Our iPad Tour in Erfurt playfully blends modern technology with the city's history: teams navigated the city center, discovered well-known sights and solved interactive challenges. Locations such as Erfurt Cathedral, the Krämerbrücke and the Augustinian Monastery provided impressive backdrops for puzzles and team tasks. The combination of observation, speed and creativity led to lots of laughter and a tangible sense of unity — a genuine team building experience in Erfurt that is both fun and bonding.
During the tour the teams worked independently and enjoyed a fair competition for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. As team guide I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case a hint or a little help was needed. The weather cooperated, which made exploring Erfurt's streets and squares particularly pleasant.
After three hours all groups met again at Kreuzgasse for the joint award ceremony. Each participant received a personalized certificate as a memento of this special day — a lovely reminder of active cooperation and shared experiences. The winning team was also honored with medals and duly celebrated.
This event once again demonstrated how effective a team building experience in Erfurt can be: it combines fun, communication and strategic thinking against a lively urban backdrop.
