Team Building Event WebhostOne GmbH
Freiburg im Breisgau enchants with its lively old town, sunny squares and historic sights – a perfect backdrop for shared experiences.
As the team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming the WebhostOne GmbH group at Rathausplatz on July 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Seventeen participants arrived punctually, were warmly greeted and, after a brief introduction, split into three teams. That’s how our exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching began, once again showing how much potential there is in team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau.
Armed with tablets and our app, the teams set off: technology met adventure as they visited various crime scenes across the city. Along the way we passed well-known spots like the Freiburg Minster, the Martinstor and the Historic Merchants' Hall – landmarks that revealed new stories and made the team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau even more engaging.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for collaborative team tasks that demanded communication, creativity and cooperation. I remained available by phone for questions and stepped in when technical or content issues arose – always aiming to ensure everyone had fun and learned together.
The weather cooperated, smiles stayed on faces, and the mood was consistently positive. You could feel how the challenges strengthened team dynamics and how colleagues discovered new sides of one another. Experiences like these make team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau something special: city discovery, puzzle excitement and shared success all in one.
After 2.5 hours all teams reconvened at Rathausplatz for the award ceremony. In a short debrief and the announcement of the scores you could see both the pride in achievements and the eagerness for the next shared adventure. As a team guide it was a pleasure to witness how much energy and cohesion this event released.
