Team Building Event SÜDVERS Vorsorge
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure on 26.07.2023 at 12:00 to lead an iPad Tour for 20 employees of SÜDVERS Vorsorge in Freiburg im Breisgau. We met at Rathausplatz, where I welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters App and how to use the iPads.
After the briefing we split the participants into three teams. Each team received an iPad as the hub for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt through the city center. The challenges combined history, creativity and teamwork — exactly what makes for an effective team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau.
The three groups set off to compete on their own: points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for creative team tasks. The CityHunters App displayed the scores in real time and fostered motivating interaction. During the tour we stayed reachable by phone as organizers so I could provide assistance if needed.
The weather cooperated, and everyone happily wandered through the streets. The route led the teams past well-known sights — from the impressive Freiburg Minster to the historic Martinstor and on to the Augustinermuseum. These locations offered not only beautiful backdrops but also engaging tasks that encouraged collaboration and communication.

The iPad Tour blends technology with playful experiences and creates moments that resonate long after the workday. That was exactly what we wanted to give the employees of SÜDVERS Vorsorge.
After roughly two and a half hours all teams met again at Rathausplatz for the awards ceremony. The mood was cheerful and relaxed as we announced the winners and honored the top team with medals. Shared experiences like this provide perfect momentum for lasting team building experiences in Freiburg im Breisgau.
It was an intense, entertaining afternoon full of fun, challenge and encounters — a team building event that demonstrated how much energy and joy can come from acting together.
