Team Building Event Allianz Pension Consult GmbH
The 37 participants from Allianz Pension Consult GmbH met punctually on July 24, 2023 at 3:00 pm in Altensteig and set off full of anticipation on our iPad Murder Mystery Tour. As the team guide I welcomed the group, gave a short briefing and divided everyone into six teams — then we began: detective work, puzzle fun and collaborative problem solving were the focus.
The meeting point was on Wildbader Str. in Altensteig. From there every team received an iPad with the CityHunters app and a brief introduction to the features: a map with location tracking, case descriptions and the task stations. It quickly became clear how much the team building experience in Altensteig is strengthened by playful challenges and collective tinkering. The teams were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly contest to score the most points.
Our route led the groups past some of the town's most beautiful corners — past Altensteig Castle, the Evangelical town church and parts of the historic city fortifications. That backdrop made the experience particularly striking: landmarks became crime scenes, squares became investigation sites. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks that demanded communication, speed and inventiveness.
The weather was at its best and the atmosphere was lively. I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical problems arose, but most teams mastered the challenges with confidence. The app's live scoring added extra excitement and motivated focused cooperation. Moments like these are exactly what the team building experience in Altensteig stands for: shared experiences that bring people together.
After three hours everyone met again on Wildbader Str., where the final awards ceremony took place. Laughter, applause and the pride in solved cases made for a perfect ending. This CityHunters event vividly demonstrated how much energy and team spirit can come together in an interactive murder mystery — a successful example of a team building experience in Altensteig that will be remembered by all involved for a long time.
