Team Building Event SIEMENS AG
Our event concept combines modern technology with playful city exploration: an iPad Tour that brings together history, culture and team spirit.
On 18 July 2023 at 5:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 19 colleagues from SIEMENS AG in Prague as a CityHunters team guide. We met centrally on the shopping street Na Příkopě, where we gave the participants a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app. Then I divided the group into three teams — the competition for the most points could begin.
On our iPad Tour in Prague, the teams navigated the city center independently, solved puzzles and completed creative team challenges. The CityHunters app connected all groups in real time: scores were visible, and the motivating live chat provided extra encouragement. Points were awarded for correctly solving tasks, good collaboration and clever strategies.
While teams explored the area around Charles Bridge or tackled tricky tasks near St. Vitus Cathedral, I was reachable by phone at any time in case technical questions or uncertainties arose. The team building experience in Prague showed itself most clearly when colleagues found solutions together, motivated one another and discovered new sides of each other.
The mix of discovering well-known spots like Old Town Square, quick brainteasers and friendly rivalry created a great, energetic atmosphere. The weather cooperated and contributed to the good mood just as much as the varied tasks, which required both observational skills and creativity.
After exactly 3 hours all teams met again at the starting point Na Příkopě for the joint awards ceremony. At the closing, fun and appreciation were the focus: winners shared their joy, but above all there remained the feeling of having achieved something together. The team building experience in Prague was clearly palpable that evening.
As a guide it was exciting to see how the high-tech Scavenger Hunt brings people together and makes the team building experience in Prague come alive. Events like this combine culture, play and collaboration in an unforgettable way.
