Team Building Event Waldmann Kohler Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB
Regensburg enchants with its medieval scenery and lively Old Town — the perfect stage for an exciting adventure. On 14 July 2023 at 2:45 pm I had the pleasure of welcoming 18 colleagues from Waldmann Kohler Rechtsanwälte PartGmbB at Kohlenmarkt and guiding them on an iPad Murder Mystery Tour.
After a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPads, we split the group into four teams. The mood was immediately eager and expectant: everyone wanted to play detective and solve the tricky cases. The tour led the teams past landmarks such as Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall — historic backdrops that brought the mystery to life.
The teams worked independently and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and completing team challenges. It quickly became clear how much shared problem solving and creative approaches boost team spirit — a real team building experience in Regensburg that is fun and brings people together. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with any questions, so everyone was well taken care of.
The integrated maps and location display on the iPads helped the teams find their way through the Old Town and discover the next stops. Many stations invited participation and also offered wonderful views of places like St. Emmeram's Abbey and the Church of the Old Chapel — sightseeing and puzzle fun combined.
After about two hours all participants met again at Kohlenmarkt for the awards ceremony. In perfect weather we were able to name the best sleuths and end the afternoon with many smiling faces. This experience vividly showed what an effective team building experience in Regensburg can look like: exciting, interactive and full of shared achievements.
