Team Building Event 4PS Bausoftware GmbH
The weather was perfect: sunny, warm and just right for our Geocaching tour through Ulm. On the evening of July 5, 2023, I met the 17 participants from 4PS Bausoftware GmbH at the Albert Einstein birthplace monument on Bahnhofstraße, a wonderful starting point for a team building experience in Ulm.
After a brief welcome and introduction I split the group into three teams and explained how the event would run. Each person received a tablet with the CityHunters app preinstalled and a short briefing on how the tour works. That left everyone well prepared and eager to rediscover Ulm in a playful way.
The next two hours belonged to the teams: they strolled through the historic old town, explored corners around the Ulm Minster, smiled at the town hall and solved challenges at the Museum of Bread Culture. In the Geocaching activity it was all about cracking puzzles, mastering team tasks and finding creative solutions together. Points were earned for correctly solved challenges, and the friendly competition produced plenty of laughs and genuine team spirit.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, but I remained available by phone to help with any questions. Especially nice was how the combination of puzzles, city discovery and exchange strengthened collaboration, exactly what a team building experience in Ulm makes so valuable.
After exactly two hours the group reconvened at the Albert Einstein birthplace monument for the awards ceremony. The mood was exuberant, the results exciting, and at the final gathering it became clear how much the participants had bonded. Moments like these are at the core of our approach: fun, challenges and shared experiences.
Geocaching offers a lively and interactive way to get to know the city of Ulm while strengthening team cohesion. Whether the Ulm Minster, the town hall or the small museums, a team building experience in Ulm combines sightseeing with play and brings fresh energy to any company event. I am already looking forward to the next team building event and to more teams discovering Ulm in this active way.
