Team Building Event Vossloh Rail Services Deutschland GmbH
Nuremberg is a city rich in history, lively squares and intriguing corners – ideal for an active group experience.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching event on June 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM for the employees of Vossloh Rail Services Deutschland GmbH. The meeting point was the Trödelmarkt, where 45 participants set off full of anticipation for their city adventure.
After a short introduction we explained the schedule and handed each team a tablet with the CityHunters app already installed. The group was split into eight teams, and then it was go time: Geocaching in Nuremberg in full swing, solving puzzles, discovering locations and collecting points.
The teams mostly worked independently during the tour, competing against each other in good spirits. Points were awarded for correctly solving tricky puzzles and for creative team tasks – just the right mix to strengthen collaboration and communication. I stayed available by phone throughout the tour in case of technical questions or task clarifications.
The route led the groups through the charming Old Town with views of Nuremberg Castle, past the Albrecht Dürer House and to impressive churches like St. Lorenz. Stops like these make Geocaching in Nuremberg especially varied and full of pleasant surprises.
The weather was changeable, but the upbeat mood and shared effort made the raindrops almost unnoticeable. A little drizzle created a special atmosphere and brought the teams even closer together – genuine team building experience in Nuremberg, experienced positively and with lasting effect.
After a total of three hours all teams returned to the Trödelmarkt for the joint awards ceremony. The tension was high and the joy even higher – winners and fellow competitors alike celebrated a successful outcome and valuable shared memories.

For me it was a wonderfully dynamic day full of energy, fun and real team building experience in Nuremberg.
