Team Building Event Deloitte GmbH
The weather was perfect: bright sunshine and a pleasant warmth accompanied our Geocaching afternoon.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 98 motivated colleagues from Deloitte GmbH at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz on June 20, 2023 at 4:00 PM. After a short introduction we explained the schedule and how to use the CityHunters app on the tablets so everyone could set off on their adventure well prepared. A team building experience in Frankfurt was the focus from the very beginning – playful, active and communal.
The group split into 14 teams and made its way through the heart of Frankfurt. The stations led the teams to both well-known and hidden spots where creativity and problem-solving were required. Whether it was the puzzle in front of the Römer, a quick glance toward the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus, or a tricky task within sight of the Alte Oper – the team spirit was evident everywhere. A team building experience in Frankfurt becomes especially visible when colleagues puzzle over clues, discuss options and encourage one another.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed in friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team challenges that promoted collaboration and communication. I remained reachable by phone the whole time in case questions came up or support was needed – but the teams mastered the challenges with flying colors.
After two lively hours we met again at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the awards ceremony. The mood was high-spirited, and participants enthusiastically shared highlights and aha moments from the tour. Experiences like these not only strengthen cohesion but are simply great fun.
Geocaching with CityHunters is a fantastic form of team building experience: active, interactive and perfect for rediscovering Frankfurt. Anyone who has worked together on a puzzle knows how valuable these shared moments are.
