Team Building Event Mephisto Consult GmbH
On June 22, 2023 at 12:30 I had the pleasure of serving as a team guide for CityHunters at a lively company event for Mephisto Consult GmbH in Erfurt. The meeting point was Kreuzgasse, where all 52 participants gathered and were divided into 8 motivated teams. Even during the brief briefing you could feel the anticipation: the iPad Tour in Erfurt blends history, culture and modern technology into an exciting experience — ideal for a team building experience in Erfurt.
After the start we made our way through the city center: our route took the groups past well-known sights like Erfurt Cathedral, the Krämerbrücke and the Augustinian Monastery. At selected stations interactive puzzles and creative team challenges awaited, all solved using the iPads. Each team worked independently, developed strategies and shared a lot of laughs — that is how a lasting team building experience in Erfurt comes about.
The CityHunters app was the tour’s backbone: it connected the teams, displayed the scores and injected extra drive into the competition. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and jointly completed tasks. I remained available by phone throughout the tour in case questions or technical issues arose — so the groups always felt well supported.
The weather cooperated and set the perfect tone: summery, friendly and ideal for an active city exploration. Over the roughly three-hour tour many surprising moments, spontaneous team spirit and fresh insights into collaboration emerged. Those are exactly the moments that strengthen the sense of togetherness and make a team building experience in Erfurt so valuable.
At the end all groups reconvened at Kreuzgasse for the awards ceremony. The top three places received medals and the atmosphere was both celebratory and proud. It was wonderful to see how colleagues turned into true teams for a few hours — with creative solutions and great commitment.
