Team Building Event SurTec Deutschland GmbH
The six participants from SurTec Deutschland GmbH set off full of curiosity and energy for our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Heidelberg.
As the team guide I met the group at Universitätsplatz promptly at 2:00 PM on June 16, 2023. After a brief introduction and dividing into three teams, everyone received the necessary clues and the tablets with our app, the heart of the game. The atmosphere was upbeat and expectant from the start: this was all about excitement, collaboration and above all lots of fun.
The game led the teams across the old town, past landmarks such as Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge. At each station participants faced tricky puzzles and joint tasks that demanded communication, creativity and quick thinking. What began as a city exploration turned into a genuine team building experience in Heidelberg.
During the tour each team worked independently and competed in friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks, and I remained available by phone throughout in case a team needed assistance. The mix of digital technology and real-world clue hunting made the investigation especially thrilling: the app guided them to new crime scenes and the city became the stage for an interactive murder mystery.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at Universitätsplatz for the awards ceremony. The mood was jubilant, because regardless of placement all participants had clearly benefited from working together. As a small token of recognition each person received a personalized certificate, a nice memento of the day and a tangible result of a successful team building experience in Heidelberg.
The weather cooperated wonderfully, making the exploration among historic facades and bustling alleys even more enjoyable. Overall it was a thoroughly successful event: exciting, energizing and unifying.
