Team Building Event Deutsche Telekom AG
74 enthusiastic colleagues from Deutsche Telekom AG met for our iPad Tour in Kraków on June 13, 2023 at 3:45 PM, ready for an exciting adventure through the Old Town.
As the CityHunters team guide I met the group at the Holiday Inn on Wielopole Street and after a brief introduction to using the iPads and our app the participants were divided into 12 teams. The mood was expectant: fun, curiosity and a real eagerness for shared experiences filled the air — exactly what a team building experience in Kraków makes so special.
Our tour blended modern technology with Kraków's historical treasures. Using the iPads as their hub, teams navigated well-known sights such as St. Mary's Basilica, Wawel Castle and the Cloth Hall. At each stop interactive puzzles and creative team challenges awaited, with points awarded for correctly completed tasks. Teams that combined strategy and team spirit racked up points.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly contest. The CityHunters app displayed the scores in real time, adding extra motivation. If questions or technical issues arose I was reachable by phone at all times so everyone could carry on without problems.
The weather cooperated, with bright sunshine contributing to the perfect atmosphere. In about 2 hours and 15 minutes the time flew by: laughter, shared aha moments and the joy of solved puzzles shaped the afternoon. These are the kinds of experiences that strengthen a team building experience in Kraków for the long term.
At the end all teams reconvened at the Holiday Inn for the awards ceremony.
The ceremony was a joyful moment of coming together, celebrating achievements and sharing memories.
This event once again demonstrated how well city exploration, high-tech fun and genuine teamwork can be combined.
