Team Building Event Steuerberater Hannemann Part GmbB
Potsdam enchants with its blend of grand architecture, idyllic squares and a lively city center that invites exploration.
On June 14, 2023 I had the pleasure of guiding a special team building event as a CityHunters team guide: nine colleagues from the tax firm Hannemann Part GmbB met at 11:00 AM in front of the restaurant Genusswerkstatt on Breite Straße, where our Geocaching adventure began. After a brief welcome and introduction I explained the schedule, demonstrated the app and the rules, and divided the group into two teams.
The participants then set off through the city on their own. With bright sunshine and great spirits it was the perfect setting for a genuine team building experience in Potsdam. The route featured creative puzzles, tricky codes and joint tasks: points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, successful team performances and finding hidden clues. In this way team spirit and communication were strengthened in a playful way.
Over the three hours the teams competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. I was available by phone in case questions came up or technical support was needed, and I was pleased to receive positive feedback during the event. The route led the groups past some of Potsdam’s most beautiful sights — from the Brandenburg Gate to the Potsdam City Palace to Museum Barberini — offering cultural insights as well as exciting moments of discovery.
When time was up everyone regrouped in front of the Genusswerkstatt for the awards ceremony. The ceremony was a cheerful finale: colleagues applauding, little anecdotes from the tour and well‑deserved laughter over creative solutions. Moments like these show how effective a team building experience in Potsdam can be — combining fun, competition and lasting collaboration.
As a guide it was a joy to watch nine individuals become a cohesive team. Geocaching in Potsdam offers the perfect mix of adventure, culture and team exercises and is an excellent way to create shared successes. I’m already looking forward to the next time!
