Team Building Event KfW Bankengruppe
The weather was perfect, with sunshine and good spirits carrying us through a delightful afternoon in Frankfurt.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 28 colleagues from KfW Bankengruppe at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz on May 31, 2023 at 3:00 PM. After a short introduction we split the participants into five teams and familiarized them with the CityHunters app and the rules, an ideal start for a genuine team building experience in Frankfurt.
Then the group set off: using digital clues, exciting puzzles and varied team tasks the teams explored the city center. Our route took them past well-known spots that show the city's charm, from the Römer to the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and the Alte Oper. Everywhere they needed to find smart solutions together and tackle creative challenges.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing team tasks, and every successful effort boosted team spirit and led to plenty of laughter and exuberant moments. I stayed available by phone throughout the game to help with any questions or uncertainties.
The format delivered exactly what a team building experience in Frankfurt makes so valuable: short, intense exchanges outside everyday work, shared successes and new sides of the city that are easy to miss. The mix of competition, puzzles and shared strategy visibly promoted communication and cohesion.
After about two and a half hours we met again at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the awards ceremony. The mood was exuberant, the winning teams were happy with their points, and all participants left with new experiences and fond memories.
