Team Building Event PharmaHera Service GmbH
The concept: interactive Geocaching as a refreshing team building event – game, excitement and a spirit of discovery combined on the streets of Mitte.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming the PharmaHera Service GmbH group at the Palais am Festungsgraben on 25 May 2023 at 3:00 pm. Twelve eager participants were split into four teams, given a short briefing and handed tablets with our CityHunters app. There was a lot of anticipation – exactly the right mood for a real team building experience in Mitte.
From the starting point each team set off on their own to explore the route through the historic city centre. The challenges blended puzzles, creative team tasks and the search for hidden clues at well-known spots like the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and Humboldt University. That playful approach created closeness and exchange: communication, shared solution ideas and the joy of discovery were the focus.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving riddles, for successful team challenges and for keen observation. I was reachable by phone the whole time in case of technical questions or small uncertainties – but for the most part I only heard laughter and triumphant cheers through the line.
The weather cooperated, the sun accompanied the teams through the city and gave the afternoon a particularly positive atmosphere. Such conditions promote exactly what matters in a team building experience in Mitte: shared experiences, fun and lasting togetherness.
After three hours everyone met back at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the award ceremony. The tension was tangible as the points were added up – the teams in first to third place enjoyed medals and the applause of the group. A lovely finish to an intense, joyful experience.
Geocaching combines sightseeing with teamwork and is a wonderful form of a team building experience in Mitte. For me as a guide this afternoon with PharmaHera is a fond memory: motivated people, plenty of laughter and genuine team moments in this unique part of the city.
