Team Building Event IHK Potsdam
The weather was perfect: sunshine and fresh air accompanied our Murder Mystery Geocaching in Potsdam that afternoon.
On 16 May 2023 at 3:00 pm I had the pleasure of welcoming the 17 participants from IHK Potsdam at Platz der Einheit as the team guide. After a brief introduction and a run-through of the game, I divided the group into three teams. Each team received a tablet with our special app, the heart of the tour, which shows crime scenes and presents the cases.
Then we were off: the Murder Mystery Geocaching led the teams across Potsdam, turning familiar spots into exciting scenes. Along the way we passed landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Barberini Museum and the Nauener Tor. Technology met adventure as the app guided the investigators to the next clues and the teams collected evidence, solved puzzles and completed team challenges.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and well-executed team challenges, very much in the spirit of a team building experience in Potsdam. I remained reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical problems arose.
The atmosphere was consistently positive and motivating: colleagues sharpened their eye for detail, discussed strategies and shared a lot of laughs. Experiences like these strengthen teamwork and are at the heart of a good team building experience in Potsdam — collaboration, communication and shared successes.
After 2.5 hours we met again at Platz der Einheit for the awards ceremony. It was wonderful to see how proud the teams were of their accomplishments and how much the shared challenge had strengthened their bond. The Murder Mystery Geocaching in Potsdam offered excitement, variety and above all fun — an ideal mix for any company event.
