Team Building Event Vossloh Rail Services GmbH
The 13 participants from Vossloh Rail Services GmbH set off highly motivated on May 10, 2023 at 10:30 for our iPad Tour in Old Town.
I met the group at Rathausmarkt, gave a brief introduction to the concept and explained how to use the iPads and the CityHunters App. After a friendly briefing, the colleagues were split into three teams, each receiving an iPad as the hub for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt. Thus our interactive adventure through the city center began.
In bright sunshine the tour led the groups to well-known city sights: impressive views of the Elbphilharmonie, the characteristic Speicherstadt and the distinctive silhouette of the main church St. Michaelis were among the stops where challenges awaited. The teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry — points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks.
The CityHunters App connected all teams in real time, displayed the scores and enabled motivating interaction. While I looked after the group before the start, I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and assisted with questions or technical issues. This kept the event relaxed and safe for everyone.
The mood was consistently positive: team spirit, enjoyment of the tasks and a shared curiosity for discovery led to many laughs and good conversations. This is exactly what makes our concept for team building experience in Old Town so valuable — team dynamics are playfully strengthened and colleagues get to know each other in new situations.
After 3.00 hours all teams returned to Rathausmarkt for the joint award ceremony. In the brief review of the best solutions and most original moments it became clear how much this experience contributed to genuine team building experience in Old Town. I am glad we rediscovered Old Town together and hope the participants take away many good memories and fresh ideas for collaboration.
