As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure on May 9, 2023 at 9:15 a.m. to lead an iPad Tour in Rheinsberg for the participants from the law firm Susanne Hennig. Ten motivated colleagues met me at the market, were warmly welcomed and given a brief instruction before the teams were formed: two groups set off, full of anticipation for an exciting team building event.
Our iPad Tour in Rheinsberg starts at a central meeting point, and so it did that morning. After a short introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app we got underway: each team used its device as a hub to discover tasks, solve puzzles and collect points. The mix of modern technology and playful exploration makes our concept a special team building experience in Rheinsberg.
The teams were on their own during the tour and engaged in a fair competition for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team tasks — teamwork, communication and problem solving were essential. The app displayed live standings in real time and allowed for a motivating live exchange. I remained available by phone throughout the tour in case any support was needed.
As we made our way through Rheinsberg we discovered well-known sights such as Rheinsberg Palace, the Kurt Tucholsky Literature Museum and the Rheinsberg Obelisk. These landmarks added cultural depth to the event and offered plenty of photo moments. The weather cooperated perfectly, so the teams could fully enjoy the city experience — ideal conditions for a real team building experience in Rheinsberg.
After about three hours all groups met again at the market for the celebratory awards ceremony. The atmosphere was jubilant, successes were celebrated and the shared recap showed how much fun the colleagues had and how much their cohesion had been strengthened.
