Team Building Event TÜV Nord Akademie
On May 3, 2023 at 2:30 PM, we set off from Opernplatz in Hanover under brilliant sunshine for an exciting adventure, perfect weather for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour.
As the team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed the 15 participants from the TÜV Nord Akademie and split them into three eager teams. After a brief introduction to the tablet and an overview of the program, the iPads were set up — maps, clues and cases were ready. The atmosphere was immediately full of energy: laughter, discussions and that classic crime-story vibe when a new puzzle needs solving.
The route took the teams across Hanover, past well-known sights such as the New Town Hall, the Market Church and the Leineschloss. At each stop there were tricky tasks and team challenges that demanded not only brainpower but also cooperation and communication. This is how a real team building experience in Hanover comes to life: everyone had to share ideas, take on roles and make decisions, always in friendly competition for the most points.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and enjoyed their mission as investigators. I remained reachable by phone in case technical questions or uncertainties arose. This supportive role made sure everyone felt secure without interrupting their spirit of discovery.
The iPad as the central tool made navigation easy and brought a digital thrill to the city’s historic setting. Along the way there were plenty of opportunities to admire the architecture and small squares — genuine discovery during a team building experience in Hanover.
After three entertaining hours we met again at Opernplatz for the awards ceremony. The mood was euphoric and proud: winners celebrating, appreciative applause and many satisfied faces. Experiences like this strengthen bonds and create memories that last long after the workday.
