Team Building Event Teamlog GmbH Spedition und Logistik
The 40 participants from Teamlog GmbH Freight Forwarding and Logistics met on April 29, 2023 at 3:30 PM in high spirits at the Old Market Square in Miltenberg.
As the team guide I welcomed the groups, gave a short introduction to using the iPads and gave the teams their final mission briefing. After a brief explanation of the digital game and its integrated map and positioning system, the six teams set off on their own. The iPads led the groups to the crime scenes and supplied the puzzles and tasks they had to solve in the competition.
Our iPad Murder Mystery Tour playfully combined excitement with exploration: stations took teams past historic sights such as the Synagogue, the Zum Riesen inn and St. Jacob's Church. The teams had to interpret clues, question witnesses virtually and complete creative team tasks to collect points. This created a genuine team building experience in Miltenberg — challenging but always fun and with a clear focus on collaboration.
During the roughly two hours and fifteen minutes of the tour the teams were largely on their own and engaged in a friendly race to find the best solutions. I was available by phone for questions and could offer help when needed without disturbing the flow of the game. The technology also made it possible to follow the scoring in real time, which further fueled the competitive spirit.
The weather cooperated, the mood was high, and many participants enjoyed the unusual perspective on Miltenberg. The combination of puzzles, historic scenery and digital tools made clear why team building experiences in Miltenberg work so well: you get to know colleagues in a new way, laugh together and solve challenges as a team.
At the end all teams returned to the Old Market Square, where we held a small awards ceremony to celebrate the top performances. The awards made it clear that team spirit counts more than individual skill — a perfect finish to an eventful afternoon.
Such an iPad Murder Mystery event combines urban exploration with team development and vividly demonstrates how team building experiences in Miltenberg are both fun and create lasting bonds.
