Team Building Event Xylem Analytics Germany GmbH
The six participants from Xylem Analytics Germany GmbH met me at Elias-Holl-Platz, ready for an evening of puzzles, activity and good spirits.
After a brief welcome and a short introduction, each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app. I explained the rules, took one last look at the route and got the groups ready — then we were off: a team building experience in Augsburg in its most active form. The teams explored the city on their own, worked on challenges and solved riddles that led them to well-known and hidden spots.
The participants discovered the many faces of Augsburg: from the historic atmosphere around the town hall to the stories of the Fuggerei, the impressive impressions of the Augsburg Cathedral and the remarkable historic water management system. Every stop demanded teamwork: creative solutions, careful observation and quick coordination determined the points awarded.
During the tour I stayed reachable by phone in case any questions or technical problems arose — a quick call was all it took for me to assist. The teams were highly motivated, laughed a lot and supported one another; for me that is the appeal of a team building experience in Augsburg: discovering and experiencing more together than alone.
After two entertaining hours everyone met up again at Elias-Holl-Platz for the awards ceremony. The mood was jubilant and the results were celebrated with applause. It was wonderful to see how the sense of togetherness grew during the game and how each individual contributed to their team’s success. The team building experience in Augsburg proved to be the perfect mix of competition, fun and bonding moments.
Events like this are not only a great way to rediscover Augsburg, they also create lasting memories and strengthen team cohesion. I’m already looking forward to the next tour — perhaps we’ll uncover more sides of this lovely city together.
