Team Building Event Kipu Quantum GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a special event for Kipu Quantum GmbH on April 27, 2023 at 4:00 pm: 20 eager participants met beside the Auswärtiges Amt at Werderscher Markt, ready for an exciting iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Mitte. After a brief welcome and a compact tutorial, the groups received their iPads and were split into four teams — and off they went.
The task was simple: a team building experience in Mitte through collaborative puzzle solving and creative team challenges. The app, featuring a built-in map and live location, led teams to different checkpoints where they had to solve criminal cases. Along the way there was plenty to discover — from the imposing Reichstag building and the historic Brandenburg Gate to parts of Museum Island. The mix of digital tasks and real-world locations turned the city into an interactive playground.
During the tour the teams were on their own and in direct competition for the highest score. Points were awarded for correct answers, quick reactions and well-executed team tasks. I remained reachable by phone to help with questions or clear up small uncertainties, keeping the experience smooth and fair. The weather cooperated that afternoon, which lifted spirits and made the walks between the stations pleasant.
After three hours the app guided everyone back to the finish spot beside the Auswärtiges Amt at Werderscher Markt, where we held a joint awards ceremony. Tension was high as the winning team was announced and the victors received medals. Moments like these show how much joy and camaraderie a well-planned event can create.
