Team Building Event Deloitte
Constance enchants with its blend of history, water and a lively old town — and it was right here that we had the pleasure of facilitating a great team building event.
On April 25, 2023 at 3:30 PM I met the 21 participants from Deloitte at Augustinerplatz, where I welcomed them as a CityHunters team guide. After a short introduction and dividing into four teams, each group received a tablet with our CityHunters app. That marked the start of our Geocaching adventure: a perfect mix of fun, puzzles and discovery — a true team building experience in Constance.
The teams set off on their own to explore the city. Along the route they passed landmarks such as Constance Cathedral, the striking Imperia statue and the Rhine bridge. At each stop there were tasks that could only be solved together: tricky puzzles, creative team challenges and observation-based mini-games. Points were awarded for correct answers and good collaboration — the friendly competition encouraged communication and made teams play to their strengths. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The weather was pleasant for the three hours — not too hot, not too cold, ideal for an energetic city exploration. The atmosphere was upbeat: laughter, shared aha moments and a little thrill in the hunt for points made the afternoon special. These are exactly the moments that define our concept and lie at the heart of the team building experience in Constance.
After about three hours everyone met again at Augustinerplatz for the award ceremony. You could feel the anticipation as the points were tallied and the winning team was announced. Endings like this create a sense of achievement and bring people closer together — whether on a company outing or as a special department experience: Geocaching creates shared memories.
To me, a team building experience in Constance means bringing people together playfully, rediscovering the city and fostering genuine team dynamics. For us as CityHunters team guide it was a thoroughly successful afternoon with Deloitte — full of energy, curiosity and real team moments in Constance.
