Team Building Event Shell Deutschland GmbH
Our event concept combines adventure, puzzle fun and team spirit – Geocaching as an interactive experience in Vienna.
On April 18, 2023, at 5:15 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Shell Deutschland GmbH in Vienna as the CityHunters team guide. Sixty-seven participants met at Minoritenplatz, where I gave a brief introduction to the game, explained the technology and went over the rules. After that the teams were formed: ten enthusiastic teams set off to collect points and search for hidden clues.
Equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, they crisscrossed Vienna. The provided coordinates led teams to well-known and hidden spots — past St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, to name a few. The mission was clear: score as many points as possible by solving puzzles and successfully completing team challenges. Teams were largely on their own and competed against each other in a friendly contest.
The stormy weather outside did nothing to dampen spirits — a light drizzle even added extra energy and camaraderie. In situations like that it became especially clear how valuable a team building experience in Vienna is: together you laugh more, find solutions faster and stay motivated.
During the tour I was reachable by phone and assisted with any questions or technical issues. The mix of navigation, problem-solving and creativity produced many aha moments: teams cracked codes, discovered clever hiding places and used the strengths of individual members — exactly the dynamics that make a team building experience in Vienna so effective.
After two intense hours all teams returned to Minoritenplatz for the awards ceremony. The closing round was full of celebration: cheers for the winners, lots of praise for creative solutions and the good feeling of having achieved something together. Moments like these stay with a team for a long time.
