Team Building Event Milliman GmbH
Mitte is a city full of stories waiting to be discovered.
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure on March 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM of leading a lively Murder Mystery Geocaching for Milliman GmbH. Thirty-three curious colleagues met me at the Palais am Festungsgraben, where we split into five teams and were briefly introduced to the rules.
At the start each team received a tablet with our custom app – technology meets adventure. The app guided the teams to various crime scenes across Mitte, turning familiar spots into exciting settings and serving up tricky puzzles. Along the route the groups saw Museum Island, the Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Cathedral from a new perspective, turning sightseeing into real detective work.
Over the roughly three hours the teams were left to their own devices and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were earned by solving puzzles correctly and completing team challenges. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any team needed support or had questions.
The weather wasn’t perfect – light rain and gray clouds accompanied the tour. Yet that just made the experience more intense: teams drew closer, laughed under umbrellas and felt how a team building experience in Mitte can really take off. Conditions like that boost camaraderie and playfulness in a special way.
After exactly three hours all groups reconvened at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the awards ceremony. Tension ran high as the winning team was announced, and of course the winners received medals. The positive atmosphere and many aha moments showed that this Murder Mystery Geocaching is not only fun but also a lasting team building experience in Mitte.
For me as a guide it was a great joy to accompany the Milliman teams on their search for clues. Experiences like these bond colleagues in a lasting way and make a team building experience in Mitte unforgettable.
