Team Building Event bildungszentrum energie GmbH
Our event concept combines modern technology, playful exploration of the city and a targeted team building experience in Erfurt – an iPad Tour that’s fun and strengthens team spirit.
On March 28, 2023 at 5:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding the iPad Tour as a CityHunters team guide for 10 participants from bildungszentrum energie GmbH in Erfurt. The meeting point was Kreuzgasse, where I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPads, and divided them into two teams.
Then the colleagues set off through Erfurt’s city center: stops led to well-known places such as Erfurt Cathedral, the Krämerbrücke and the Augustinian Monastery. The tasks were varied — from tricky puzzles to creative team challenges — and required observation, communication and ingenuity. In this way sightseeing was playfully combined with a team building experience in Erfurt.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks; the CityHunters app showed the interim standings and provided extra motivation. I was reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The weather cooperated and the mood was relaxed and motivated. In many moments you could feel the collaboration come alive: ideas were exchanged, roles clearly assigned and successes celebrated together. That is exactly what makes a good team building experience in Erfurt — shared moments that have a lasting effect.
After just under three hours everyone met again at Kreuzgasse for the award ceremony. During the short debrief and final wrap-up the teams were able to look back on what they had experienced, laugh and take away new insights.
