Team Building Event Netze BW GmbH
The CityHunters Geocaching combines play, discovery and team spirit into an experiential event concept.
As the team guide, I welcomed 14 motivated colleagues from Netze BW GmbH at Augustinerplatz in Constance on March 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM. After a brief introduction and a split into two teams, participants received the clues and the technology they needed to go on a point hunt independently. This is how our typical team building experience in Constance begins: plan together, act independently and then celebrate as a group.
With tablets and our CityHunters app the teams set off to explore Constances Old Town. The route led to some of the citys most beautiful spots — past Constance Cathedral, along the Rhine bridge and with fascinating views around the Imperia. Between historic facades and picturesque squares they had to solve puzzles, complete creative team tasks and find hidden clues. Every solved puzzle and successful task earned points, and the competition added extra momentum to the activities.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and could play to their strengths. I remained available by phone at all times in case of technical questions or task clarifications. It is precisely this mix of free exploration and reliable support that makes our team building experience in Constance so special: personal responsibility meets a shared adventure.
The weather cooperated, the mood was upbeat and collaboration visibly improved. Creative solutions and funny moments arose throughout the city, boosting team spirit — ideal for lasting team building experiences in Constance.
After three hours all teams met again at Augustinerplatz for the awards ceremony. The results were met with applause, entertaining anecdotes and happy faces. Shared moments of success like these bring people closer together and remain memorable.
Geocaching with CityHunters offers a lively way to rediscover Constance while strengthening team dynamics. For Netze BW it was a thoroughly successful team building event: exciting, bonding and full of good spirits.
