Team Building Event Körber Pharma Consulting GmbH
The concept of our Geocaching event blends playful puzzles, city exploration and a focused team building experience in Karlsruhe into an entertaining adventure.
On March 14, 2023 at 3:30 PM I, as the CityHunters team guide, met the 11 participants from Körber Pharma Consulting GmbH at Friedrichsplatz. After a brief welcome and introduction, we explained the format, handed out tablets with the CityHunters app and split the group into two teams. That marked the start of our interactive team building event, with fun and collaboration at the center.
The teams then set off on their own to explore the city center. Our route took them to well-known spots like Karlsruhe Palace, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Zoological City Garden. At each station there were puzzles and creative team tasks where points could be earned. It was especially rewarding to see the different strengths people brought and how quickly ideas came together — exactly what a team building experience in Karlsruhe achieves.
Despite rather unpleasant weather the mood stayed cheerful: a light drizzle became a reason for laughter, motivation and rolling up sleeves together. The weather did not dampen anyone’s spirit; on the contrary, the challenge strengthened the sense of togetherness. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case questions or minor obstacles arose, and I supported the teams on the go without interrupting their autonomy.
After about 2.5 hours everyone met again at Friedrichsplatz for the awards ceremony. The scoring and the relaxed wind-down provided a pleasant finish: excitement, recognition and plenty of laughter — ideal ingredients for a lasting team building experience in Karlsruhe. Moments like these show how team dynamics can be promoted playfully.
Geocaching in Karlsruhe combines cultural impressions, competitive spirit and teamwork in a harmonious way.
