Team Building Event Deutsche Bahn Connect GmbH c/o Deutsche Bahn AG
The concept of our Geocaching event blends urban discovery, puzzle-solving and collaborative work into a lively experience that immediately brings people together.
On 16 February 2023 at 5:30 pm I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Deutsche Bahn Connect GmbH c/o Deutsche Bahn AG at Opernplatz as their team guide. Nine participants were warmly greeted, given brief instructions and split into two teams. After a run-through of the format and a quick demo of the provided tablets and the CityHunters app, the teams set off—eager to see what the evening in Frankfurt would bring.
The route led through bustling streets and past familiar landmarks: the imposing silhouette of the Alte Oper, the historic lanes around the Römer and the venerable St. Bartholomew's Cathedral. Along the way the teams solved tricky puzzles and completed creative group challenges. It was clear that a team building experience in Frankfurt is not just about competition but about figuring things out together, sharing laughs and enjoying those small aha moments.
During the roughly two-hour tour the groups operated independently, competing in good spirits to earn the most points. Points were awarded for correct answers, clever ideas and successfully executed tasks. As team guide I remained reachable by phone and provided support when needed—usually a small hint was enough to keep everyone motivated. The weather cooperated and the pleasant atmosphere added to the upbeat mood.
At the agreed time everyone reconvened at Opernplatz for the awards ceremony. Excitement and pride were palpable as the top team performances were celebrated. For me it confirmed that a team building experience in Frankfurt works wonderfully when activity, local atmosphere and cooperation come together. It was an evening full of energy, encounters and fresh impressions—a Geocaching experience that strengthened bonds and will be remembered for a long time.
