Team Building Event IDT Biologika GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I led a lively iPad Tour on 23 January 2023 at 2:00 PM for 19 colleagues from IDT Biologika GmbH in Dessau-Roßlau. We met in front of St. Georg Church on Georgenstraße, a central spot where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the schedule and the technology.
After a short briefing on the iPads and the CityHunters app, we divided the group into four teams. Each team received an iPad as the hub for navigation, puzzles and team tasks. Then the adventure began: a team building experience in Dessau-Roßlau in its purest form – modern technology, playful fun and city exploration all in one.
The teams set off on their own, explored the city and earned points by solving puzzles correctly and completing creative challenges. The CityHunters app displayed the scores in real time and enabled motivating live interaction. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or minor issues came up.
Our route took the groups past well-known sights: from striking Bauhaus buildings to the imposing Residenzschloss and on to the green Georgium – ideal backdrops for exciting tasks and great souvenir photos. That way the team building experience in Dessau-Roßlau was not only effective but also varied and culturally rich.
The weather was fairly good and the friendly light helped create a positive atmosphere. The teams worked together with great enthusiasm, laughed a lot and developed different strategies – sometimes speed won out, sometimes creativity.
After two hours, everyone met back at the starting point for the awards ceremony. Spirits were high and proud when the winning team was announced. Moments like these show how much an iPad Tour strengthens togetherness.
